What do the first few sessions look like?

Session 1: Baseline Assessment & First Therapeutic Experience (There are two main components: 1) the optional 60 minute Brain Map and 2) the standard 45 minute Stimulation.  If both are requested the total time is 1 hour and 45 minutes. Subsequent sessions are 45 minutes in duration.

  1. Introduction and Education: The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist explains the principles of Neural Pathway Therapy, including how it works, its intended effects, potential benefits, and any risks or side effects. The client can ask questions to ensure they fully understand the procedure.
  2. Medical and Psychological Evaluation: A comprehensive assessment is conducted to gather the patient's medical history, current medications, and neurological or psychiatric conditions. The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist evaluates the patient's suitability for treatment, ensuring there are no contraindications (e.g., metallic implants, skin conditions on the head, etc.).
  3. Baseline Measurements: Depending on the therapeutic target (e.g., addiction, depression, cognitive enhancement), baseline cognitive, motor, or mood assessments are performed.   These assessments may include standardized tests, questionnaires, or specific tasks before the first in-person meeting between the patient and the Certified Neural Pathway Therapist.
  4. Brain Map: The goal is to generate a brain map so a clear baseline is established before the first treatment and then again after the 10th treatment.  A brain map, also known as a quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG), is a diagnostic tool that measures the brain's electrical activity and creates a color-coded map of brain function. The brain map process is optional and takes approximately one hour.
  5. Hydration The patient is offered a drink of CLARITY. Our delicious proprietary formula provides the optimal balance of vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic and amino acids to both hydrate and enhance neural plasticity for the session.
  6. Vibration: To support the recalibration process the client then sits on the vibro-acoustic cushion, which transmits soothing vibrations directly into the body. Over 11 minutes, the client experiences the perfect synergy of melodies and brainwave synchronization, carefully crafted to help enter a state of deep relaxation.  Our initial pilot study showed this reduced cortisol levels by 50%.
  7. Stimulation: After the patient is relaxed, the Certified Neural Pathway Therapist identifies the target areas of the brain and positions the electrodes on the head accordingly. The stimulation parameters (current intensity, duration) are determined based on the patient's condition and therapeutic goals. The first stimulation  is usually brief (e.g., 10-15 minutes) to monitor the patient’s tolerance and any immediate side effects. The patient's feedback on the session is recorded to inform future adjustments. The patient is observed for any adverse reactions during and after the session.

Session 2: Second Therapeutic Application (45 min)

  1. Review and Feedback: The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist reviews the patient's experience from the first session, including any side effects or discomfort. The patient provides feedback on any perceived changes in symptoms or cognitive function.
  2. Adjustments: Based on the patient's feedback, the Certified Neural Pathway Therapist may adjust the sensor positioning or treatment protocols.
  3. Therapeutic Application: The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist administers the second session, typically with the planned therapeutic dose (e.g., 15-20 minutes). The session starts with a drink of CLARITY and is followed by the 11 minute session on the vibro-acoustic cushion. The patient is monitored throughout the session for any adverse effects. The patient's feedback on the session is recorded to inform future adjustments.
  4. Post-Session Evaluation: Immediate post-session assessments are conducted to detect any short-term changes in symptoms or cognitive function. The patient is instructed to manage minor side effects (e.g., skin redness, tingling sensations).

Session 3+: Subsequent sessions require continued Monitoring and Adjustment

  1. Symptom Review: The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist discusses any observed trends, improvements, or other issues with the patient. (deeper sleep, more productive, increased clarity)
  2. Further Adjustments: Based on the ongoing feedback, the Certified Neural Pathway Therapist may further adjust the stimulation parameters. The patient's comfort and tolerance are prioritized to ensure the treatment is as effective and pleasant as possible.
  3. Therapeutic Application:  The session starts with a drink of CLARITY and is followed by the 11 minute session on the vibro-acoustic cushion. The third session is administered with the adjusted parameters. The Certified Neural Pathway Therapist monitors the patient closely during the stimulation.
  4. Outcome Assessment: Post-session assessments are repeated to evaluate any changes. The patient's feedback on the session is recorded to inform future adjustments.

It takes a team effort

A note from F.D. in Cardiff by the Sea, California

I have been struggling with extreme anxiety and slight depression for a while, and traditional methods of treatment have only provided limited relief. That's when I decided to try Neural Pathway Therapy, and I'm incredibly glad I did.

After completing 4 sessions, I can confidently say that I've noticed significant improvements in my mental health. The most immediate change was a profound sense of calm I hadn't experienced in a long time. This newfound tranquility has been transformative, allowing me to manage my anxiety more effectively.

In addition to the reduction in anxiety, I've also seen improvements in my ability to focus and my overall executive function. Tasks that once seemed overwhelming are now much more manageable. I feel more present and capable in my day-to-day life.

Neural Pathway Therapy has been a game-changer for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone facing similar challenges. It has made a noticeable difference in my well-being, and I am grateful for the positive changes it has brought to my life.
